Welcome! I'm Christina, the founder of ESL Teacher Mentor. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I've embraced the expat life for over a decade, dedicating my career to the ESL industry. My journey has been as much about teaching as it has been about learning - from the diverse students I've taught and the dedicated teachers I've worked alongside.
My academic background, a B.A. in Graphic Design and an MBA in Business Administration, has shaped my innovative approach to ESL education. It’s a blend of creativity, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of educational needs across various cultures and backgrounds.
My story in the ESL world began in Chile, where for nine years, I not only taught English but also managed a branch of an English institute as the Regional Manager for Southern Chile. This experience gave me profound insights into the nuances of ESL education, both from a managerial perspective and a hands-on teaching approach.
Now, living in Gran Canaria, Spain, I continue my passion as an online ESL teacher and coach, offering personalized, impactful education to students and mentoring teachers globally.
